1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Health App collects, uses, stores, and protects user information. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Health App is designed to support user-owned health management, including meal logging, weight tracking, health trend records, profiles, and AI-powered nutrition analysis.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, login details, and user role or access level.
Profile information: health profile details provided by users.
Health record information: meal logs, weight records, goals, trend history, and subscription or trial status where applicable.
Meal analysis information: meal photos, food descriptions, and AI analysis results submitted by users.
App usage information: app interactions, feature usage, error logs, and device-related technical information.
Notification information: messages or alerts related to app access, health records, subscriptions, and account activity.
Payment information: VIP payment status, purchase timestamps, and subscription/access entitlement records. On iOS, VIP purchases are processed by Apple App Store In-App Purchase. Payment card details are not stored in the app.

3. How We Use Information

Create and manage user accounts.
Provide meal logging, weight tracking, health trend records, and profile features.
Manage app access, trial/subscription status, user records, and admin functions.
Provide AI-powered meal analysis and general nutrition suggestions.
Improve app stability, security, and user experience.
Send important app-related notifications.
Prevent misuse, fraud, or unauthorized access.

4. AI Meal Analysis

Health App may allow users to upload meal photos or food information for AI analysis. This feature provides general nutrition and wellness suggestions only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

AI analysis may be processed using third-party AI services through secure server-side functions. API keys are not stored in the mobile app.

5. Third-Party Services

Firebase Authentication for login and user authentication.
Firebase Firestore for database storage.
Firebase Storage for file and image storage.
Firebase Cloud Functions for secure backend processing.
Google Gemini or similar AI services for meal analysis.
Apple App Store In-App Purchase for iOS VIP purchases. Stripe may be used only for non-iOS web payment checkout where allowed.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell user personal information.

Information may be shared only when necessary to provide app functionality, process data through trusted service providers, comply with legal obligations, or protect user safety and app security.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect user information, including authentication, controlled database access, backend processing, and secure cloud services. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain user information as long as needed to provide app services, maintain records, resolve issues, comply with legal requirements, or improve the app.
